Travis McShane is a Houston native, growing up in north Houston before attending The University of Texas & The Culinary Institute of America. In 2009, Travis was introduced to Jonathan Waxman, one of the godfathers of American Cuisine, who gave Travis his start. Travis worked his way up from extern, to line cook, to executive chef at New York City’s Barbuto & Adele’s, Nashville.

Travis became Jonathan Waxman’s corporate chef overseeing culinary operations & menus for all of Waxman’s restaurants including from San Francisco, Nashville, Atlanta & NYC. In this role Travis was also able to travel the world with Waxman doing various charitable dinners and cooking festivals. In the summer 2018, Travis and his wife Charlotte moved back to Houston with one goal in mind. To opening a neighborhood restaurant that embodies the food, atmosphere, and philosophies that most define him.
