A passionate, purposeful, visionary with intention, full of enthusiasm, that is Chef Jane Wild. Jane, a lover of dough, yoga, and cuisine has found herself owning and running award winning kitchens since 1998. A Houston native and graduate of the Art Institute then took off on a domestic culinary grand tour with stops in the kitchen of Whole Foods leading regional culinary teams in seasonal programs along with new store openings, Jane baked herself to the top. Then found herself in the the kitchen with renowned Charlie Trotter and Portland’s Grand Central Bakery, Jane then returned home. Her passion infectious and after building a local following at the farmer’s market, she opened award-winning Jane and John Dough Bakery. This delighted the folk of Old Town Tomball the neighborhoods around and the local press. Named one of Houstonia’s Top 100 restaurants, Jane established her bakery as an epicenter of creativity and culture in the market. Her deep love of community are readily apparent in her leadership and culinary style. Shown through her passion for supporting sustainable local farmers and artisans with her flavor changing with the intention of the seasons. She credits her son Maxx and her yoga practice as her grounding forces in her life. Now front and center, at the stunning Dunlavy Kitchen Jane leads the culinary team and is excited to inspire the next generation of Chef Janes by participating in Chef Fest.
